Ed Fink
My yoga journey began in January 2012 when a friend suggested yoga as a way to open my heart. The language and imagery, the sacredness and spiritual nature of the classes I took, deeply resonated. I began to take course offerings seeking to deepen my personal practice and discovered a passion and aptitude for teaching yoga. I have over 600 hours of training, with teachers including Laura Plumb, Bhava Ram, Indu Sharma, David Frawley, Shambhavi Chopra, Shankari Van Acker and Mary Rain. Yoga is a spiritual adventure, a journey into the heart. I work in education administration, enjoy nature, and am a knowledge seeker of the spiritual arts.
My classes involve the use of breath, body, and mantra, to engage the spirit, body, and mind, creating a union, the center of which is the Heart, or what one might call the Soul. Mantra leads the breath, breath moves the body. My belief is the role of ‘teacher’ is to create a space for others to dive deep and find their Truth of the Heart through their practice of yoga. Let's journey together.
