Allison Zalkovsky
Allison began practicing yoga in college as a means of keeping herself active, but quickly found that the practice also served to foster a sense of groundedness. Both aspects kept her returning to her mat, but the latter is what led her to pursue teaching yoga. She completed her first yoga teacher training in 2015 and began teaching immediately, rejoicing in the opportunity to share a practice that has so positively impacted her life with others. Since then she has gone on to complete other advanced teacher trainings, as well as earning teaching certifications in prenatal yoga and yin yoga. Allison’s classes are a creative mix of fun and challenging; she loves to reconceptualize movement and provide students with a safe space to get curious and playful, while building body awareness and connectivity. Off her mat, Allison is a married mom of two young children, a dog and a cat. She loves good food, wine, books, music, friends, and art, and is always down to laugh and be a bit silly.
