VINYASA + SLOW VINYASA
Our Vinyasa yoga classes use the dynamic actions of inhaling and exhaling to link a series of yoga postures together. The fluid movements build internal heat while creating a moving meditation that is set to the rythm of your own breath. Each vinyasa teacher combines a diverse collection of influences based on the traditions studied, practice and experience. Therefore, each class will be a unique expression of ‘vinyasa’ and vary from teacher to teacher. Vinyasa classes are geared towards students looking for a stronger, more movement-based practice.

MEDITATION
Practice gently guiding the mind in order to become more present and at ease. Meditation helps to ground you in the here and now, and over time can help reduce stress, and improve focus and clarity.

YIN + RESTORATIVE
Our yin yoga classes consist of passively-held seated and supine positions held for 3-5min, allowing for access to deeper layers of connective tissue including the fascia, joints, ligaments, and bones. This style of practice is a wonderful compliment to the more active (yang) postures found in hatha and vinyasa classes.

In restorative yoga learn to relax deeply as your body is supported in supine and seated postures by props including bolsters, blankets and blocks. Passive posses help encourage complete relaxation and a connection to your parasympathetic nervous system.

THE REST OF YOGA
It is a great place to start. This class marries the wisdom of yogic philosophy with the experience of a physical practice. We will address all aspects of what it means to be a human being. While each class is different, expect to go deeper into self-awareness through meditation, breathwork, yogic philosophy, and/or the posture. Classes are accessible to all levels of ability.

YOGA WIND DOWN
Unwind and relax with this gentle, restorative class. This class is designed to help you de-stress and find your happy place. Expect a blend of gentle movement, passive stretches, restorative and yin postures, calming breathwork, and guided meditation. Appropriate for both beginner and advanced practitioners.

STRENGTH + TECHNIQUE
Our Strength + Technique classes emphasize a complete and balanced yoga practice. Stability and control help students feel confident and empowered while safely working into more advanced postures and concepts. The techniques taught can help address common areas that restrict movement, as well as help prevent injury and relieve pain. By learning and applying these principles, common injuries are not only minimized but students are able to deepen yoga postures from a place of strength and balance.

MOBILITY LAB + MYOFASCIAL RELEASE
These classes are designed to improve flexibility, mobility and stability.

Along with a yoga mat, this format often includes Yoga Tune-Up balls, and other resources. Though the focus will primarily be on mobility, we'll offer techniques and tips to improve student biomechanics needed for an active lifestyle.

FLOW + GO
This noontime yoga class is the perfect way to break up your day! A light warmup leads to an energy building vinyasa practice appropriate for all levels.

FLOW + REST
This class is 30-minutes of energizing Vinyasa flow followed by 30-minutes of deep, introspective, and quiet Restorative Yoga. This is a mindful practice to honor balance within.

VIN-YIN
The class will begin with a warming Yang practice to encourage prana or energy to flow in the body followed by long-held Yin Yoga poses to load the connective tissues and help you relax into the deepest layers of the body.

MOVE TO YOGA NIDRA
Forty minutes of gentle Hatha Yoga, along with longer-held, passive Yin Yoga postures followed by 20 minutes of
Yoga Nidra = Bliss!

GENTLE HATHA
Our hatha and gentle hatha classes involve the use of breath, body, and mantra, to engage the spirit, body, and mind, creating a union, the center of which is the Heart, or what one might call the Soul.
In this style of class, each yoga posture is generally held longer than in a flow or vinyasa style class, offering a different viewpoint from which to explore breath, alignment and energy. These classes are a great option for someone new to the practice or for seasoned practitioners who want to refine technique.

ASHTANGA
This class is a one hour modified version of the Ashtanga primary series. It is a dynamic set sequence of sun salutations, standing poses and seated postures that is accessible for all levels. The practice becomes like a moving meditation with focus on breath, bandhas and drishti (eye gaze).
